Metta is the Pali term for lovingkindness or friendship.
In this practice, we cultivate an attitude of unconditional kindness for ourselves and for others that goes beyond our normal limitations. We therefore strengthen our natural capacity for goodwill leading to a greater acceptance of ourselves and others. This quality may reveal our fundamental connectedness to all of life.

In this retreat, we will be spending the day alternating between the sitting and walking posture while all the time radiating metta in an atmosphere of noble silence.

The teacher will be  giving daily meditation instructions, dhamma talks and interviews which will help elucidate the practice.
This retreat is given in English with translation into Portuguese.
